Winter Solstice

On the solstice, we got up at 4:30 and hiked up the mountain to see the sun rise.  When the sun hit the valley floor, it illuminated a “pyramid” that is shaped into the landscape but can only be seen from about 1,000 feet up.

  3. Hey, Bob! Lindsay (Asbury) here! Joanna told me you were in Peru for a while, but didn’t say you lived there! I am so jealous! Some day…As for now, we’re taking our 6-year-old for a vacation on Friday. We’ll mostly be in Cusco and surrounding areas. Can I have your email? Silly question, but I want to ask about the weather! Thanks!
